VIETNAM BUSINESS FORUM
The Canada-Vietnam Trade Council, in association with the Embassy of Vietnam in Canada and the Ontario Ministry of International Trade, is hosting a forum on business opportunities in Vietnam on September 26, 2017. Speakers include former Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam Mr. David Devine, and representatives from the Ministry, EDC, OWIT, TFO, and Forrec.
B2B Match-Making: Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbags Association (LEFASO)
The Vietnam Leather, Footwear and Handbag Association (LEFASO), in cooperation with the Commercial Section of Embassy of Vietnam in Canada, the Canada-Vietnam Trade Council and the Trade Facilitation Office (TFO) Canada, are jointly organizing a business match-making event in Toronto with Vietnamese footwear producers and exporters. The leather, footwear and handbags industry is one of the key manufacturing industries in Vietnam. Vietnam ranks as the third largest footwear producer in the world, after China and India, with 4% of the total world footwear production in 2015. The industry is one of the main export sectors in Vietnam, with exports increasing by 18% to US$ 15 billion in 2015.
VIETNAM BUSINESS FORUM
The Canada-Vietnam Trade Council, in association with the Embassy of Vietnam in Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade, is hosting a forum on business opportunities in Vietnam on September 24, 2015. Sessions include tools available to assist Canadian companies expanding into Vietnam as well as best practices for Canadian multinationals and SMEs interested in Vietnam.
TRADE AND INVESTMENT WORKSHOP: DA NANG CITY
On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Canada-Vietnam diplomatic relations, the Canada-Vietnam Trade Council, in collaboration with the Government of Da Nang, is hosting a workshop on trade and investment with Da Nang City, Vietnam, on August 31, 2018. Speakers include representatives from Da Nang Investment Agency, Deloitte Canada, and B+H Architects.

VIETNAM - CANADA SUPPLY CHAINS COOPERATION: PRESENT AND FUTURE
